Ways to Get Involved
God has given us each different gifts to use.
When we say a person is gifted, we usually mean they have extraordinary talents or abilities in a particular area, such as music or art or academics. But in the church, when we say a person is gifted, we are talking about us. Each of us has been given gifts and abilities and talents to use for the glory of God. No one can say, "I have nothing to offer", or "I have no ability to use."
Part of being of member of the Presbyterian Church is using our time, our talent, and our treasure to build up the body of Christ. God never intended the church to be a spectator sport! Not everyone will preach, teach, or sing in the choir. But we can do something that fits our unique blend of abilities, skills, and passions.
There are volunteer opportunities that range from a couple of hours a week to a couple of hours a month. Please consider using your time and talent to build up the body of Christ
