Education & Fellowship

Education & Fellowship

Education and Fellowship are important parts of our life together at First Presbyterian Church. Education is essential in nurturing persons in the knowledge and understanding of what it means to live as God's people in the world today. One of the goals of our education program is to enable persons to connect the faith we profess on Sunday with the decisions we make the rest of the week.

Fellowship activities provide opportunities for the church family to get acquainted with one another.

Church School

"Fall" into the groove with church school. We are never too young or too old to expand our knowledge of God. The Christian Education Committee has something for everyone, ages 3 to 103, so don't miss the excellent opportunities this fall.

Church school begins at 9:00 a.m. on September 19. All our classes are held downstairs.

The pre-school class, for children through kindergarten, will explore Bible stories and learn what it means to live as a child of God.

Faith Village, for children in kindergarten through 6th grade, will begin the year with "The Great Escape: Exodus and the Ten Commandments," followed later in the fall with "The Parable of the Talents."

The youth class, for grades 7 through 12, looks at various topics throughout the year.

The Adult Faith Formation class will begin September 19 with a session highlighting some of the actions of General Assembly. The series "Enough" begins September 26. This series explores the Bible's wisdom on financial practices and what is means to live joyful and generous lives.

Please consider growing in faith by participating in these classes.
