What is the Downtown Higher Power Lunch?
These lunches are nondenominational faith-based gathering for persons from Bismarck businesses, non-profits and churches.
The First Presbyterian Church, as a downtown church, is reaching out to our neighbors, inviting you, whether an employer, employee or just looking to gather with likeminded persons, for a free lunch on the third Wednesday of each month. These lunches will provide a time to Network, receive Inspiration, feel Connected, and experience Encouragement.
As part of the Higher Power Lunch, a scripture-based message/devotional that is relevant to the daily challenges and struggles faced in daily life will be shared.
WHERE: These lunches will be held at First Presbyterian Church, 214 E Thayer Ave in Bismarck, ND.
HIGHER POWER LUNCH SCHEDULE: Lunch served from 11:30 a.m. to 12:10 p.m., a welcome, prayer and any announcements at 12:10 p.m. followed by five minutes of networking time. Our guest speaker will provide a message for 15-20 minutes. The closing will end the gathering at 12:50 p.m.

The First Presbyterian Church of Bismarck received start up grant funds from the Presbyterian Women of the Northern Plains Presbytery. These funds are being used to provide food for the lunches and for startup expenses, making possible these monthly Christ centered gatherings in our neighborhood!
Each month a sponsoring organization or individual who has purchased the lunch for the guests can be featured. If you would like information about sponsoring a Higher Power Lunch, please contact Gladys Cairns at 701-220-6030 or Joe Satrom at 701-471-8676.
Free will offering baskets will be available. Any donation will go into the Downtown Higher Power Lunch account and will be used for the expenses of the future monthly lunches.
Please join us in welcoming
